Training - Gender Biases Against Women
As part of Gender Equality Plan MU (GEP), a training session focused on the issue of gender stereotypes.
PhD Day offered to students a comprehensive package of information on doctoral studies. Besides, participants could also learn more about research activities in other study programs or at other faculties or about skills development opportunities for PhD students at the Masaryk University.
This year, unlike last year, this event was organized fully in English and as a campus-wide event for students of Faculty of Science, Medicine, Sport Studies and CEITEC MU.
The European Charter & Code of Conduct for Researchers were also introduced to students. Supporting the development of PhD students as early-stage researchers is one of the important aspects of the new HR strategy of the Faculty of Science, HRS4R.

In May 2024, we launched an analytical phase of the project "Introducing a Flexible Working Culture and a Support System for Parents on Maternity and Parental Leave into the Working Environment of the MU Faculty of Science" as part of the Employment Plus Operational Programme (OPZ+). This phase includes a gender equality audit, featuring structured individual and group interviews with our employees, led by an auditor.
