IMPORTANT DEADLINES:

  • Deadline: 3 April 2025
  • Deadline for submission of the application to the MU Research Ethics Committee: 5 March 2025 till 14:00. More information here.
  • PERSONNEL COSTS – until 14 March 2025 send a list of the people in the project team that you plan to include in the project proposal to the Personnel Officer (contacts by department below). You will be sent a salary range that you can plan for each employee.
  • GRIS - insertion of Part B (breakdown + justification of financial items): 21 March 2025
  • Deadline for initiation of electronic approval of the Project proposal records in ISEP by the investigator: 28 March 2025
  • Submission of the filled affidavit of co-funding (if required) by email to the project manager, (it will be approved electronically): 28 March 2025
  • Deadline for sending the GRIS-generated final PDF of the application to gacr@sci.muni.cz for submission via data message: 2 April 2024 till 9:00.

INFORMATION ON THE PROGRESS AND FINAL REPORTS OF THE TACR PROJECTS

  • The request for transfer to the FÚUP for progress reports will be solved electronically. Please complete this table and I will enter the electronic approval, no later than Thursday 11 January 2024.
  • Returns of unspent funds, even from partner organizations, must be notified to me no later than Thursday 11 January 2024.
  • The deadline for delivery of the progress report is Thuesday 30 January 2024.
  • The deadline for final reports is within 30 days of the end of the project, so if you end on 31 December 2023, it is Thuesday 30 January 2024.
  • After submitting the report in ISTA, you need to generate a "Submission Confirmation", which I will send it to the TACR.

Completing the report in ISTA:

  • Instructions for submitting the interim and final report of the TAČR project.
  • In addition, the TACR issued separate guidelines for each programme. The guidelines are always available for download in the ISTA, in the progress/final report documents.
  • For projects that have an external application guarantor, the Statement of the external application guarantor is a mandatory annex. If you have more than one application guarantor, there must be a statement from all of them. Please find more detailed information in the report documents.
  • Another obligatory annex is the expert report, TACR has not issued any form for filling it in, it only specifies the obligatory structure that the expert report must contain. The mandatory structure can be found in the documents accompanying the report. TACR makes a recommendation to follow the structure of the proposal.
  • I will put the final profit and loss account to the project annexes in ISTA. For all the projects we will also have a return of income from bank account, I will have the calculation after the accounts are closed and I will put the amount in ISTA for you.
  • As for completing the financial drawdown, I can fill in the amounts for you. The final figures will be available to you in the week of 22 January 2024.

Vyhlášení veřejné soutěže v programu INTER - EXCELLENCE, podprogramu INTER-COST (VES20 COST)
  • Soutěžní lhůta: 2.11. – 16.12.2019
  • Interní termín pro předložení návrhů projektů ke kontrole je nejpozději do 2.12. 2019.

Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy vyhlásilo veřejnou soutěž v podprogramu INTER-COST pro podávání návrhů projektů na zapojení českých vědeckých týmů do evropské mnohostranné spolupráce COST v oblasti základního výzkumu, průmyslového výzkumu a experimentálního vývoje a to formou nových akcí COST nebo připojením se k již navrženým akcím COST.

Návrh projektu musí být součástí některé z již schválených akcí COST a současně musí být ukončena vnitrostátní procedura vstupu do akce COST v ČR. Návrh projektu má být zpracován v angličtině (pokud není výslovně požadováno jinak)

Projekty je možné řešit od 15. 5. 2020 – 31.12.2023. Minimální doba řešení projektu je 20 měsíců. Doba řešení projektu však nesmí přesáhnout dobu řešení akce COST.

Podmínkou je doložení vyjádření navrhovatele nové akce COST, obsahující doporučení s připojením návrhu projektu k nové akci COST. U běžících akcí COST musí být doloženo vyjádření řídícího výboru akce COST k zařazení návrhu projektu do akce.

Soutěžní lhůta: 2.11. – 16.12.2019

Interní termín pro předložení návrhů projektů ke kontrole je nejpozději do 2.12. 2019. Vzhledem k blížící se uzávěrce roku prosím konzultujte návrhy projektů s dostatečným předstihem.

Návrhy projektů lze podávat pouze prostřednictvím datové schránky nejpozději 16.12. dopoledne.

Ministry of Health has announced calls for proposals dealing with applied health research projects.

Important dates

  • Call announcement: 4. 2. 2025
  • Deadline for project submission: 21.3. 2025 till 12:00
  • Beginning of the project: 1.1.2026
  • Termination of projects: 31.12.2029
  • Project duration: 48 moths
  • Internal deadline for budget control (inserted in the ISVP application): 6.3.2025. After control and approval of the budget it is necessary to insert the draft proposal into the documents in ISEP and start electronic approval no later than 17.3.2025.
  • Deadline for sending the generated FINAL PDF proposal for submission by data mail: Thursday 20.3.2025 till 9:00.

Ethics Committee for Research (ECR)

 

Applications for consideration by the Ethics Committee for Research (ECR) are submitted through the INET information system - ISEP - Project Proposal Editor. The deadline for receipt of applications is Monday 24.2.2025 until 14:00! More information here.

Each institution involved in a project working with human subjects must provide approval from an ethics committee, regardless of whether it acts as the main applicant or a co-applicant. Ethics Committee for Research (EKV MU) recommends submitting all projects implemented at MU for review if:

- MU is the main applicant.

- Human participants and/or biological material of human origin will be used at MU, regardless of MU’s role in the project.

Internal instructions

  • The project is submitted through the ISVP system. In the project proposal, add two persons to the authorized persons in the role of Editor: Tereza Johnová and Eva Žufanová (for the Personnel Department).
  • Please contact Tereza Johnová (johnova@sci.muni.cz) if you are applying for the first time in the ISVP system or for the first time for the Faculty of Science and need to create a user account.
  • When planning your personnel costs, please follow the Methodology Sheet for Planning Personnel Costs.
  • In the case of investment planning, please consult in advance your intention with Petra Rozíkova, rozikova@sci.muni.cz; tel: 549 49 5291. Also inform economist of project. The acquisition of investments is only possible if the director of the institute agrees to co-finance all costs related to the acquisition of the investment.
  • Special authorizations according to the nature of the project (GMO, use of experimental animals, informed consent of the patient, etc.) are provided and inserted into the application annexes by the proposer himself.

We would like to ask all applicants to make their intention to participate in the competition known as soon as possible.
