Project is focused on support and intervention for students with disability/disadvantage in the frame of their special educational needs. Researchers were conducted on education and intervention; its strategies and processes; on the factors for effective support for children with special need education and for children at risk for exclusion from education.
Results
The project results comprise three comprehensive books with 60 specialized research essays and two books containing research studies. The results show joint research activities of PhD students, their supervisors and academics specialized in special needs education and special andragogy. The project results include over 30 PhD student research papers in the books published within the research project led by prof. M. Vítková n. 0021622443 and other research projects and conferences.
The project results include 5 successfully defended dissertations, one of which was awarded by the dean. The dean's outstanding publication award was awarded to a published dissertation (defended in 2012, awarded in 2013).
