The main priority of the project is to contribute to strengthening of the movement for climate justice through deepening connection between the German and Czech Degrowth & climate justice struggles; linking current debates on climate, degrowth and socio-ecological transformation more closely with each other and strengthening knowledge and method transfer within the climate justice movement. The main activities include: two meetings among the partners in Prague and Leipzig (activities 1 and 2) focused on sharing experience, especially in communication of the topics of degrowth and socio-ecological transformation to the broader public, and implementation of the degrowth principles into the functioning of an organization; the biggest event of the project is a participatory conference in Brno, CZ (activity 3) that combines the academic debate with the more activist part of the degrowth & climate justice movements; beside these intense short events, there will be an ongoing work on getting the topics of the project to broader public via an interactive web and social media (activity 4) that will be happening systematically during the whole project.
